Just one more victory before Uruguay, Ghana to the semi-finals and book record name in the history when they become the African team ahead at World Cup finals. But with teachers Rajevac, they are a belief, not pressure, now.
Being in a generation transition period, Ghana is not set too many expectations as Ivory Coast, Nigeria or South Africa host country. Injuries of the most massive star, Michael Essien pillars also coated with a black shadow over chances of Ghana. But not too much pressure to bear on the present achievements has helped black stars show their capabilities and is the hope of the whole of Africa.
Ghana's success has come from the Rajevac to combine successfully between an experienced player with a generation of young players full of talent and at newly crowned UEFA U-20 World 2009. The Jonathan Mensah, Inkoom, Addy, and especially Adiyiah Ayew, son of football legend Pele Abédi Ghana, is a new wind blowing up, a new belief that the Black Stars can absolutely conquer pinnacle of world football, like what they have done in the UEFA U-20 World Cup.
Faith has helped Ghana to fully utilize the power of a team of the Black continent that is strength. Against Germany, a team also inclined to the power, Rajevac’ team had not proved inferior, if not marginally more than their competitor. However, it is the match that Ghana lost Germany by the pressure to pass the first round and immature both in terms of experience than the team ever World Cup championship three times, although some opportunities that they create not inferior to their opponent.
But the game against Uruguay will be different tonight. Ghana is now the pride of Africa. Therefore, they will become "hosts" in this battle by South African fans will cheer for them. That is a great advantage by the inspiration needed to play but has the enthusiasm and the wild African players in general and Ghana in particular.
Of course, only faith alone will certainly not be enough. Rajevac's squad still have outstanding individuals, the player can finish the match. That's Asamoah Gyan or Kevin-Prince Boateng, the players have talent and are really keen to assert themselves. Against the U.S., both players got shine together to bring impressive victory 2-1 for Ghana. Boateng was a shot with the remote and Gyan mixed with a speed and finished assertively. It is all phases of forte of two players not only Ghana but Africa is waiting to be lived with moments of football history of the Black continent.
